GCC’s in-house teams deliver service across the whole of mainland Britain so whether you need a one-off or regular clean, anti-COVID fogging, legionella or ATEX compliance, you can be sure we can help. We also have a depth of experience working with single-site premises and multi-site estates across the healthcare (CQC, HIS, HIW & non-CQC), general office, retail, charity, warehouse & distribution, hospitality, food & beverage and manufacturing sectors.

GCC also offers a comprehensive range of cleaning products and equipment.

Customer Service

Quality is at the heart of everything that we do and this is facilitated by our in-house customer service team based at our Sutton Head Office and our 20 strong field-based management team.

Utilising a range of integrated IT solutions including uComply, Jobwatch, and GCC’s real-time customer service platform, GENIUS which provides real-time information to both office and field-based staff, issues are resolved before they become problems.

We also use EziTracker to monitor login and log out times of your cleaners when on site. This helps us comply with Health and Safety Lone Working Regulations.

Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE)

If TUPE ‘Transfer of Undertaking’ (Protection of Employment) applies, we will manage all aspects of the transfer process including consultation and onboarding, using our in-house HR team supported by HR legal advisors Ellis Whittam.

OUR OWN BRAND CHEMICALS

GCC works with key partners Bothongo Hygiene (previously Healthguard Hygiene), Imperial Chemicals and Lyreco to ensure continuity of supply of cleaning chemicals and consumables and priority access to new developments such as EN14476 compliant (COVID-killer) products.

  • GCC’s core range of four, own-brand chemicals, packaging and mode of delivery have been developed to be as sustainable as commercially viable.
  • There is no use of aerosols that use Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) as propellants.
  • GCC uses refillable pump-action (also called trigger action) sprays in preference to aerosols.
  • There is no use of products that are purely cosmetic and have no hygienic purpose such as air fresheners.
  • All GCC chemicals are clearly labelled with usage and dosage instructions to help to avoid using more than is necessarily required.
  • A ‘pelican’ pump-action dispenser is used with concentrate containers to ensure correct dilution ratios and minimise wastage.

COMPULSORY TRAINING

All members of the GCC Team undergo comprehensive and ongoing training specific to their job role. All operational employees including managers undergo GCC’s bespoke Cleaning Proficiency Course which is aligned to the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) standard using NHS Cleanliness and Infection Control guidelines as a baseline. GCC is a corporate member of BICSc.

GCC’s specialist mobile technicians receive further, specific, training for their role using external specialists and industry bodies as required.

All GCC’s cleaning operatives and techs receive regular refresher training and upskilling to ensure they are suitably experienced and motivated to enable them to carry out their duties effectively, safely and with due care.

We only use recommended, quality cleaning products with COSHH data sheets available for each product.

 

GCC’s bespoke Cleaning Proficiency Course consists of a range of modules including:
