Our extensive knowledge means we have the expertise to tackle every cleaning challenge in any sector of business that requires the use of our foggers and the trained professionals who operate them.
We understand how best to deliver fogging as a tool to help prevent infection and cross-contamination and how to properly utilise fogging machines to bring you the best results.
What Is Fogging?
Fogging is the process of disinfecting a space and those items in it using a fine mist of electrostatically charged particles. When used with chemicals tested to EN14476 (the ‘COVID killer’ standard), it is one of the most effective ways to kill the COVID-19 virus.
A chemical mist is sprayed electrostatically into the room that will settle on all exposed surfaces.
The treated room must be empty of people during treatment and for two hours afterwards but can then be reoccupied without further decontamination or ventilation. Decontamination lasts for up to 30 days and can be repeated on a monthly basis to provide long term protection.
How Does Fogging Work?
Hand-held fogging machines convert a liquid antimicrobial solution into vapour. This vapour is then dispersed through the use of a fan to all desired areas to be treated.
As this vapour is applied, it evolves into a misty, fog-like atmosphere which delivers complete, consistent coverage to all surfaces. GCC’s fogging machines apply an electrostatic charge to the cleaning chemical to ensure enhanced coverage and adhesion. Not only does fogging effectively disinfect all surfaces, but it also combats airborne pathogens, ensuring nothing harmful is left after treatment.
